Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, a Canadian-American singer and songwriter. Her catalog includes more than 20 albums. Her music is categorized as alternative rock, folk rock, but it also has hints of hip-hop and jazz. Ani DiFranco, widely regarded as a feminist icon and Grammy-winning artist is considered to be the first founder in DIY music. She was among the first artists to establish their own labels in the year 90. DiFranco was born in Buffalo New York on September 23rd, 1970.
