Simone Biles
Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born March 14, 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. In the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at one Games and was also the first gymnast to earn three consecutive World All-around championships (2013-15). Biles was born in Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) adopted them. The Biles family grew up in the Houston metropolitan area. Simone was introduced to gymnastics by her daycare teacher Aimee Borman, when she was 6 years old. She was a student at Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles achieved a silver medal at vaulting in the year 2010 as well as a bronze at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. Then she moved on to competitions at the elite level in the year 2011. She was the most dominant in her sport less than two year later. Biles stood out for her constant, possessing an enthusiastic and energetic personality and incorporating a high degree of difficult in all of her competitions vaulting uneven floor workouts.
